Today`s effort

Well today I made the gym, after a strenuous week at work travelling long distances I needed it. Boxercise and Body Combat with the team. Tomorrow we have a run planned with the team at Sherwood Pines, this will be a pre run with the team who will be taking on the challenge on the 3rd of March. HOWEVER WE HAVE GOT SNOW, so we will have to see what tomorrow brings.

Part of the Crew

Meet the gym team, here are a couple of the CREW as we are now known who do all the group exercise classes with me. These reprobates will also be taking part in the forth coming challenges Sherwood Pines 10k obstacle race is the first on March 4th followed by a night in a marquee drinking beer and listening to the live bands, who said fitness is not fun. Sunday Running completed

Sunday night and I have just been for a run. Tonight I tried to replicate my run from Monday nights running club, however the fundamental difference was I completed it and even got through the hill sections.I am looking forward to the running club tomorrow, we should have a good turn out and the people taking part are all good fun with a little competivness.

Running

Today I will be hill running in an attempt to build up my fitness levels in short bursts, this should help me with he forthcoming events that I have lined up starting on March 4th with a night run called Sherwood Pines (10k and 10 obstacles). If anyone has any fitness suggestions then please comment.

BTS Launch

Today was the launch of the new BTS programme 3 hours of group exercise classes.

Body Attack
Body Combat
Body Pump
There must have been over 300 people taking part and the atmosphere was electric. This week I have signed up for 3 events so now is the time to up my fitness levels. Coming soon I will be entering my diary of workouts so all comments would be grateful.

Typical I have a cold, therefore this week training has had to be downgraded to a few sessions. This morning I am going to go to body combat, BUT THAT IS IT. I might even go on a nice dog walk you never know. However if I feel better tomorrow I will be off and running again as I build up to the first of my 2012 challenges. During this week I have just missed out on my best healthy weight or my best running weight, this week I intend to reach my goal and to maintain it.

Signed up for three events, and this is it ready to start running again. Its been 1 month since I last run and I feel I have lost all my fitness levels in the particular area of my training. In order to compete in the 3 events I am going to have to run 13 miles, so I better get started and get into action. Over the next 2 weeks I will be introducing some video clips of my running.
